Andrew Ladd, the former Arizona Coyote announced his retirement from the NHL this past week in an Instagram post. The 37-year-old played for six different NHL teams over his 16 year career in the league.
“I’ll forever be grateful for how the game shaped me as a person and the people it brought into my life,” Ladd said in his social media post.
The No. 4 pick in the 2004 draft started his journey with the Carolina Hurricanes where he played in 137 games and scored 26 goals for the Hurricanes.
