The Coyotes added another goaltending option by acquiring a player from their opponent Saturday.

Hours before the Coyotes faced the Devils in New Jersey as their five-game, East Coast road trip continued, the team traded for goalie Scott Wedgewood in a deal that sent a fifth-round pick in 2018 to the Devils.
