What started as a season filled with doubts following a return from a major injury has evolved into Clayton Keller playing freely and at his best this year.
Heralded as one of the core members of the Arizona Coyotes throughout the ongoing rebuild, Keller was locked into a career season last year. He had 63 points in 67 games before a broken leg cut his campaign short and helped keep the Coyotes in the bottom of the NHL standings.
His return was important for the Coyotes, but Keller was forced to miss all of preseason to prevent rushing his recovery.
