Barrett Hayton's two goals and 34 saves from Scott Wedgewood led the Coyotes to their first road victory of the season, 3-2 over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night.
Hayton, 21, scored on the power play with 6:08 left in the third period and the Coyotes, with Wedgewood turning away the Blues down the stretch, held on for their second win this season.
Hayton logged the first multi-goal game of his career and the Coyotes scored two power play goals, the first time they've done that in their 16 games this season.
The Coyotes (2-13-1) also had success on the penalty kill, going 3 for 3 after entering the game second-to-last in the NHL in PK percentage and 30th in power play success rate.
