Liam Kirk is in the Valley for the third Arizona Coyotes prospect development camp of his career. But this one feels different.
The 21-year-old forward from England has a three-year entry-level contract, and as one who's been there and done that at rookie camps, he's a player some of the younger Coyotes prospects can look to for some advice.
The contract, announced in July, was a clear sign that the Coyotes view Kirk a little differently than before, as well. With the pandemic limiting his action in Europe, Kirk played for Great Britain in the IIHF World Championship tournament in Latvia in May and June and finished with seven goals, tied for the most among all players.
