Ben Kraws is entering an exciting time in his hockey career.
The 6-foot-5, 194-pound goalie assumed the starting role last season, his first with Arizona State, and delivered impressive numbers.
Kraws contributed to ASU’s growing record books in several ways. His 50 saves at No. 5 Quinnipiac tied the program’s single-game record, and his 689 saves were the third-most in a single season. He recorded a 2.97 goals-against average and .907 save percentage in 27 games.
His season at ASU grabbed the attention of the Arizona Coyotes and earned Kraws a spot as an invite to the Coyotes prospect camp, which concludes Friday with a scrimmage at 6 p.
