The Arizona Coyotes added another forward to their large contingent at the position, signing 13-year veteran Derick Brassard to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
Brassard, 33, totaled 32 points in 66 games with the New York Islanders last season. He has six seasons of 40 or more points and 483 points in 852 career NHL games.
He's also played in 117 postseason games, with 68 points from those. The Coyotes are his fifth team since the start of the 2018-2019 season and eighth of his career.
"We are very pleased to welcome Derick to our Pack,” Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong said in a statement announcing the signing.
