The player the Arizona Coyotes coveted the most in the NHL Entry Draft earlier this offseason is now officially in the fold.
The team announced the signing of first-round pick Dylan Guenther to a three-year contract on Monday. The ninth overall pick in the draft, Guenther will be introduced in person at Gila River Arena Wednesday afternoon.
"We are very pleased to welcome Dylan to the Coyotes organization," Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong said in a statement from the club. "Dylan is an extremely skilled and smart player with a great work ethic. We are confident that he will become a very good NHL player and look forward to watching his development this season.
