Arizona Coyotes general manager Don Maloney announced on Sunday that the team had recalled recently acquired forward Christian Thomas from the Springfield Falcons.
Christian Thomas was acquired earlier this season in exchange for Lucas Lessio from the Montreal Canadiens.
The Coyotes provided a press release:
The 23-year-old Thomas has registered 3-4-7 in 15 games with Springfield and has also collected 7-7-14 in 18 games with the St. John’s IceCaps (AHL). He has scored 1-2-3 in 26 career NHL games between the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens.
Thomas was originally drafted by the Rangers in the second round (40th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and acquired by the Coyotes in a trade with the Canadiens on December 15, 2015.
