The Arizona Coyotes have relished its physical, heavy game at Mullett Arena, and reaped the rewards in Friday’s result against the New York Islanders.
A hot second period that saw the Coyotes scoring from traffic in front and deflections and holding the Islanders’ offense. The hard work paid off when Clayton Keller’s insurance goal in the third period became the game-winning goal in the 5-4 win.
"That was a physical game that was high pace and had a lot of goals. We like when we have that kind of emotion and intensity in our building," Coyotes head coach Andre Tourigny said.
