It was an interesting week in the desert for the Arizona Coyotes.
At the trade deadline, former first round pick Mikkel Boedker was traded to the Colorado Avalanche for Alex Tanguay and two prospects. Later that evening, the Yotes came out flat and fell 6-0 to the Pittsburgh Penguins to end their five game road trip with zero wins.
Thursday night, they faced off against Anaheim and were bullied out of their own building 5-1. Max Domi picked up a suspension for losing his cool late after Ryan Garbutt took liberties with Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
All told, the Arizona Coyotes lost those two contests by the combined score of 11-1.
