The 2020 NHL Draft starts Tuesday for most teams. The Arizona Coyotes are one of a handful of teams that don’t get a selection until Day 2 on Wednesday.
Barring a pre-draft deal that gets them into the first round, or any trade that nets them even a second- or third-round pick, the Coyotes could watch a lot of players come off the board before the fourth round and pick No. 111 arrives. That choice is, as of Monday night, the club’s first pick in the draft.
But General Manager Bill Armstrong is listening to offers that could move the Coyotes up in the draft.
