The Coyotes had a very productive entry draft this year. They selected five defensemen, two centers, and two right wings.
Arizona continues to horde defensemen, both left and right shots, with keeping the Swedish trend around as well. They drafted one player with a high point total, Tyler Steenbergen out of the WHL Swift Current Broncos. Most of the defenseman are young, keeping their totals low, but Filip Westerlund did play pro in SHL with Frölunda HC.
Grade wise, I think the Coyotes walked away with good young players to develop and put into the system.
