The Arizona Coyotes (0-1-0) host the Anaheim Ducks (1-0-0) for their 2018-19 home opener on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Gila River Arena.
Here's everything you need to know before puck drop in Glendale:
Kachina pride
The Coyotes will wear throwback uniforms featuring the club's original black Kachina sweaters on Saturday. Former Coyotes center Jeremy Roenick will drop the ceremonial first puck.
Additionally, starting goaltender Antti Raanta will be wearing custom pads and a custom mask to mark the occasion. The Coyotes will be wearing Kachina uniforms for every Saturday home game this season.
The mask, designed and painted by David Gunnarsson, pays homage to former Coyotes captain Shane Doan.
