A day after filling a key hole behind the bench, the Coyotes addressed a vacancy in their front office Wednesday by hiring former Arizona State Athletic Director Steve Patterson as their president and CEO.
The Coyotes had been in need of a new president/CEO since Anthony LeBlanc vacated the position June 16 after owner Andrew Barroway bought out his minority partners.
General Manager John Chayka has also been promoted to president of hockey operations.
"I'm extremely honored to join the Arizona Coyotes organization," Patterson said in a statement released by the team. "My wife and I loved living in the Valley of the Sun and we are so excited to return to Arizona.
