Antti Raanta doesn’t pore over his statistics too often. But when he does, they’ve been nice to look at.
For the second time this season, the 28-year-old goaltender was named one of the NHL’s top three players of the week. Raanta won the award for the period from Feb. 12-18 and has another one for the March 26-April 1 period.
Raanta posted a 3-0-0 record to go along with a 1.00 goals allowed average and a .965 save percentage. Since Jan. 1, he has a 1.87 GAA and a .940 save percentage, both of which are best among all NHL goaltenders with at least 15 starts over that span.
