The Arizona Coyotes started off strong last night, tallying 2 first period goals. The defense was the saving grace to start tonight, rookie Kyle Capobianco got the first goal of his young NHL career, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson followed up later on in the period to give the Coyotes a 2-0 lead.
Conor Garland tallied a goal in the second period to give the Coyotes a 3-0 lead. Outside of that, not much else happened in the second. Of course, one thing to note is the Coyotes went 0-4 on the power play through the first 2 periods.
