It seemed like a harmless social-media post, but could it be indicative of what Coyotes fans should expect next season?
The Coyotes rolled out its weekly round of "Wallpaper Wednesday" designs, custom-made images that fans can use as wallpaper for their various devices, and both images featured Antti Raanta and Darcy Kuemper, the club's two goaltenders heading into next season.
It was one of the first times both Raanta and Kuemper have been featured together in a team promotion. And it likely won't be the last.
When Raanta was acquired prior to the 2017-18 season, it was assumed that the former backup with the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers would shift into a starting role.
