The Coyotes have a couple of tryouts on their defensive end.
The Arizona Coyotes offered professional tryouts (PTOs) to defensemen Keith Aulie and Corey Potter earlier today, according to the Coyotes' own Dave Vest.
Aulie, a left handed shot, last played for the Edmonton Oilers. In 167 games with the Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Toronto Maple Leafs, Aulie has scored four goals and recorded ten assists. The 116th overall pick has journeyed between the AHL and NHL for most of his career, and his production rates indicate why:
At 26 years old, Aulie has not really been able to stick in the highest level of competition; his best single-season showing was a two goal, five assist campaign (a full half of his career totals) in 45 games with the Lightning back in 2012-13.
