Coyotes winger Max Domi is still weeks away from returning to the lineup as his broken hand continues to heal, but when the team’s No. 1 option on the left side does get back into the mix, it looks like the Coyotes might have to resolve a crowded depth chart.
And that doesn’t bother them.
“That’s a good thing,” coach Dave Tippett said. “If you have decisions to make, that means you’re getting better.”
Tobias Rieder, Jamie McGinn, Lawson Crouse and Brendan Perlini have mostly handled the duties at left wing in Domi’s absence, and since everyone except Perlini has been with the team the entire season, he could appear as the odd man out.
