The Arizona Coyotes are reuniting with one of their former first round picks.
The Coyotes have claimed F Viktor Tikhonov off waivers (Chicago). Was a first round pick of Coyotes in 2008 (28th overall).

With the return of Bryan Bickell, the Chicago Blackhawks put forward Viktor Tikhonov on waivers. The Coyotes promptly snatched up their former first rounder, who recorded 16 points in the 2008-09 season with Arizona.
After his rookie debut, Tikhonov spent the next two seasons in the American Hockey League before returning to Russia.
