The Coyotes suffered yet another blow to their already-ravaged lineup.

Center Derek Stepan is expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks with a lower-body injury, head coach Rick Tocchet informed reporters after Friday's practice. Stepan went down during the third period of Thursday's victory over the Canucks.

"He's been playing good hockey for us," Tocchet said of Stepan. "It's a big blow, but what I love about our team is we had a great practice today (Friday). ... Next man up. I know it's a corny statement, but for our team it really matters.
