SAN JOSE, Calif. – Once the ice had been cleaned and the lights flickered brighter, the Coyotes filed out of their dressing room Saturday for a morning skate to prepare for the Sharks.
They took line rushes, stretched and unleashed shots on net, the routine inside SAP Center unraveling like it usually does before games.
Except there was another Doan, an extra Domi and one more Chychrun – a larger-than-usual pack in attendance as the Coyotes brought their dads on the road with them.
“Something I’ll never ever forget,” Mark Martinook said. “It’s been a lot of fun.
