Christian Fischer never seemed to have a doubt that a deal to keep him with the Arizona Coyotes would get done.
He's been skating and working out with Arizona Coyotes teammates in the area in recent days, looking ahead to next season. And now, after brief negotiations, Fischer is officially back with the Coyotes, having signed a two-year, one way contract that was announced Monday.
The 6-foot-2, 214-pound forward returns to a roster left largely intact from last season, outside of the three free agents the club signed during that period earlier this month. Fischer could be part of a third line this season after playing 56 games with six goals, three assists and 140 hits, third most on the team in 2019-2020.
