The Coyotes have acquired center Peter Holland from the Maple Leafs in exchange for a 2018 conditional draft choice.
"Peter is a big, solid centerman with good NHL experience," General Manager John Chayka said in a statement released by the team. "We look forward to having him join our team."
Holland had played sparingly with the Maple Leafs this season, chipping in an assist in only eight games. In his career, he has 30 goals, 40 assists and 70 points in 203 games with the Maple Leafs and Ducks. The 25-year-old was drafted by the Ducks in the first round (15th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
