Upon hearing the recent news that the Calgary Flames were buying out the final year of former Coyote defenseman Michael Stone’s contract, I reflected on just how quickly things can change in hockey. Once a promising young blueliner on the Coyotes roster, Stone was limited to just 14 games last season, wrapping up a mediocre showing in Calgary, scoring 5 goals and adding 11 helpers in 115 games. His (mis)fortune also got me thinking about how other Coyotes have fared since leaving the desert, so, in honor of Stone’s goal total, I took a look back 5 years at the 2014-2015 (recently renamed) Arizona Coyotes roster.
