They are still hanging in the playoff race, but the Arizona Coyotes have been in a bit of free fall of late.
In mid-January, the Arizona Coyotes were jockeying with the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers for first place in the tight Pacific Division standings. With 57 points on Jan. 15, they sat atop the division with a two-point lead over the Flames and Oilers, and three up on the Vancouver Canucks and Vegas Golden Knights.
Since then, however, the Coyotes have been in free-fall. Following Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators, they've won just three of their last 15 games.
