The Arizona Coyotes' six-game losing streak came to an end Wednesday with a 5-2 win over the San José Sharks. Of more concern, however, was an injury to All-Star forward Clayton Keller, who after crashing into the boards behind the Sharks goal late in the third period, was down on the ice for several minutes before being wheeled off on a stretcher.
Keller went full speed into the low wall after being hooked by a Sharks player and appearing to lose his balance before his knees hit the boards and bent awkwardly. On the stretcher, he gave a thumbs up as the stunned crowd inside Gila River Arena applauded.
