Here are five things we learned from the Coyotes' 1-0 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday at Gila River Arena:
Stepan, Panik have chemistry
Derek Stepan, Richard Panik and Clayton Keller lit the NHL on fire when the triumvirate skated with one another at the end of last season, and Stepan and Panik seem to have carried that momentum over into this season even as Keller centers the team’s second line.
Stepan finished with a game-high nine shots on goal (almost half of the 20 total shots the Ducks got on Saturday) and Panik was just behind him with seven of his own.
