WINNIPEG, Manitoba – The Coyotes had more bounce in their stride.
They posted an early lead – twice.
And they were unloading regular shots on net, getting up ice with pace and ease at times.
But then the second period happened.
A solid start and noticeable improvement from a dull 3-1 showing Monday in Edmonton unraveled into a flat follow-up as the Jets used a three-goal second period to cruise by the Coyotes en route to a 6-3 win Wednesday at MTS Centre. It's Arizona's third straight loss, and now the Coyotes face the possibility of going pointless on this three-game road trip that concludes Thursday in Minnesota against the Wild.
