With the way the kicker position has played out for the Arizona Cardinals over the last several seasons, it is a bit surprising to see Steve Keim and company stick to their guns one more time.
Since Chandler Catanzaro’s first two seasons, where he was 57/64 (89%) on field goals and 80/85 (94%) on extra points, the Cardinals kickers have been a bit of a problem.
Chandler Catanzaro finished out his Cardinals career in 2016 going 21/28 (75%) and 43/47 (91.5%) on extra points.
The Cardinals brought in Phil Dawson to get the kicking game fixed and he went out and went 80% on field goals and 89% on extra points.
