Mike McCarthy is extremely familiar with the Arizona Cardinals. The former head coach of the Green Bay Packers lost twice to the team from the desert in postseason play. Back on December 2nd, McCarthy’s squad once again fell to the Cards, a defeat which turned out to be his final game as the leader of the Packers.
Ironically, McCarthy could end up becoming the head coach of the club that’s been such a thorn in his side throughout the years. Sportswriter Peter King is reporting that there may be mutual interest between the Cardinals and the man that they’ve had so much success against.
