Safety Jalen Thompson had to watch his team from afar on Sundays for weeks as he worked through an ankle injury. As he did, he took advantage of the time to try to get mental reps while watching on television, but he also made some big picture observations. And he liked what he could see.
"I that that, personally, we can be the best defense. We’ve got all the pieces, we've got all the tools, we've got all the leaders, the experience," Thompson said on Wednesday.
"We've just got to go out there and do it now.
