Cardinals assistant head coach Tom Moore has been chosen as one of three recipients for the Paul “Dr. Z” Zimmerman Award, given for lifetime achievement as an assistant coach in the NFL.
Moore is entering this third year with the Cardinals, and has been an assistant coach in the NFL for 37 seasons. He coached in two Super Bowls apiece during his time with the Steelers and Colts, and he’s also worked for the Vikings, Saints, Jets, Titans and Lions during his storied coaching career, which began at the University of Iowa in 1961.
Moore, Titans assistant head coach Dick LeBeau and former Patriots assistant Dante Scarnecchia make up the class of 2015, as selected by the Pro Football Writers Association.
