The NFL opt-out deadline has passed. Here’s how the Cardinals were impacted

The time for opting out has come and gone for NFL players, unless there are some issues that pop up in the interim.

Those problems:

1. A new diagnosis reveals he has a high-risk condition.
2. A player’s family member dies, is hospitalized, or otherwise moves to a medical facility because of COVID-19 or related condition.
