Normally, when NFL teams make flashy free-agent signings or orchestrate a big trade of any kind, they bring in their new players for a series of news conferences.
These are not normal times.
The NFL has mandated that all players stay away from team facilities amid the COVID-19 pandemic, essentially putting an end to the regular interview sessions that typically follow a free-agent signing or trade acquisition.
The Cardinals found a new way to introduce one of their latest additions on Monday, however, organizing a live video conference on Zoom with newly-signed outside linebacker Devon Kennard, the former Phoenix Desert Vista High School standout who agreed last week to a three-year deal worth $20 million.
