After the Eagles fell to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, much of the blame, at least from the fans, was placed on Gannon. The storm intensified when he swiftly assumed the helm of the Cardinals just a week after the Eagles’ playoff exit.
But in a twist of fate, Gannon had the last laugh—at least for now.
With the Eagles needing a win to stay in the run for the #1 seed in the NFC, Gannon marched the Cardinals into their best offensive games of the season.
