If hiring Kliff Kingsbury after a month long stay as offensive coordinator at USC rubbed people the wrong way, hold onto your hat if Bruce Feldman is correct.
Feldman, one of the top college football writers in the country, is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals are targeting newly hired Texas State head coach, who has not coached a game yet.
SOURCES: The Arizona Cardinals have interest in #TexasState head coach Jake Spavital for the offensive coordinator job under Kliff Kingsbury. (They coached together at Houston.)

Spavital and Kingsbury were on Kevin Sumlin’s staff together at Houston, and Spavital, like Kingsbury, is an air raid disciple.
