The Cardinals made a move in their secondary Monday, releasing cornerback Tharold Simon and promoting cornerback Harlan Miller from the practice squad.
Miller was the team’s sixth-round draft pick in April, but he has spent the season on the practice squad. Whether he is active in a game is to be determined – coach Bruce Arians said the team will watch the back injury of starter Marcus Cooper, who has left in the middle of both of the last two games because of the issue.
Simon was claimed off waivers in early September when he was released by the Seahawks.
