Seahawks hammer Cardinals in regular-season finale

The Cardinals didn’t have to worry about finishing a game on Sunday. That’s because they never started.

The Seahawks beat them every way possible, winning the regular-season finale 36-6 at University of Phoenix Stadium.

The Cardinals (13-3) looked like a team that had gone to seed rather than one that’s the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. Sunday’s loss, the worst in coach Bruce Arians' three seasons, stings and the mark it left will take a while to fade.

Seattle led 30-6 at halftime.

The loss ended a nine-game winning streak for the Cardinals, who have a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
