Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has made his fair share of blunders over the past six years. The club’s top personnel evaluator has left the fans scratching their heads on more than a few occasions. However, a sly trade that Keim pulled off back in 2016 is deserving of high praise.
The prize from that ingenious deal, Chandler Jones, has been everything that the Cards could’ve hoped for and more. Keim forked over a just second-round draft pick and an underachieving guard named Jonathan Cooper to acquire the gifted pass-rusher. To say that the executive got the better of that deal with the New England Patriots would be an understatement.
