Cardinals insider Bob McManaman offers a breakdown of Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and Giants at MetLife Stadium:
Recap: The Cardinals raced out to an early 17-0 lead behind backup running back Chase Edmonds, but they had to fend off the New York Giants throughout Sunday’s game before holding on for a 27-21 victory at MetLife Stadium.
It was the third straight win for the Cardinals (3-3-1), their first three-game streak since 2015 when they won nine straight.
Zane Gonzalez kicked a 35-yard field goal with 2:09 remaining and the Cardinals’ defense stopped the Giants (2-5) on a last-ditch possession, sacking Daniel Jones twice as they brought him down eight times overall for 67 yards in losses.
