Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Arizona Cardinals will steal away left guard J.R. Sweezy from NFC West division rivals Seattle Seahawks. The deal looks to be for just two years, with an unknown price.
The soon to be 30-year-old J.R. Sweezy switched from right guard to left guard to start the 2018 season, with good results. In 15 games as a starter in 2018, Sweezy showed an ability to be a mauler as a run blocker and helped pave the way to Seattle’s league-leading rush offense that rushed for an average of 160 yards per game.
