Brett Hundley, a Chandler, Arizona native will be on his third team in one calendar year per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The deal will be for just one year for $2 million, with a max price of $3 million.
What’s interesting about this signing is that Josh Rosen was Hundley’s replacement quarterback at UCLA, though, neither played together in their time in Los Angeles. Both are also familiar with the spread offense, which is a dynamic of Kliff Kingsbury’s ‘Air Raid’ system.
At 25-years-old, Hundley has some potential to be a solid quarterback in the NFL, but that hasn’t shown during his playing time.
