There are three Arizona Cardinals players who recently underwent medical procedures and could miss time in the offseason. The result leaves the cornerback position thin for offseason work and perhaps through OTAs and mini-camp.
Cornerbacks Patrick Peterson and Justin Bethel -- the two starters -- recently had minor surgery. Peterson underwent a procedure on his ankle and Bethel on his foot, as repported by Kent Somers.
Peterson posted a photo on Instagram after the procedure.
According to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, defensive tackle Frostee Rucker also underwent a procedure to fix up his right ankle.
