Four days after the news broke that he would be suspended for the first six games of the season for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy, Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson was not at the team's first day of voluntary OTAs.
"It’s disappointing, obviously, but you deal with adversity as a team," coach Kliff Kingsbury said on the suspension itself. "We all support Pat and know what type of player he is and person he is. We’ll be really excited to get him back."
Until he returns in Week 7, the Cardinals will have to navigate opposing teams without their perennial Pro Bowler.
