On this week’s Red Rain Podcast, when Kyle Ledbetter predicted that we would probably have to wait until July to see the Cardinals sign 1st round pick WR Marvin Harrison Jr. to his slotted contract, I was feeling a profound sense of dread.
Kyle made a cogent argument because he listed how many of last year’s first round picks were signed in July, especially for those in the top ten.
I had first intended to title the podcast: “The NFL is waiting and wondering about MHJ.”
As we know, MHJ took an unconventional approach to the pre-draft process —- and since being drafted, he still hadn’t signed an agent and while entangled in a lawsuit with Fanatics, MHJ still hadn’t signed the NFLPA Licensing Agreement.
