The first two days of training camp, Cardinals coach Bruce Arians couldn’t mention Earl Watford’s name without including the fact that the young offensive lineman has been working out at all five positions up front, starting from left to right.
Yep, that’s left tackle and left guard. Center, of course. And right guard and right tackle.
So which one is he, really?
“I’m a football player,” Watford said with a smile after giving some thought to the question.
He’s about as versatile as they come for a guy who was drafted strictly as a guard coming out of James Madison in 2013 as a fourth-round pick.
