In April, the Arizona Cardinals made the first pick.
On Wednesday, they made the only pick.
The Cardinals were the only team to take in the 2019 NFL supplemental draft when they bid a fifth round selection on safety Jalen Thompson out of Washington State in the fifth round.
Thompson was All Pac-12 in his junior campaign, and in three years, he had 190 tackles, 11 sacks, six interceptions, 17 passes defended and two forced fumbles.
He joins a revamped defense the Cardinals have worked to bolster during through free agency and the draft.
Because the Cardinals made a selection in the supplemental draft, Arizona will forfeit their fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
