NFL source says Michael Floyd dislocates three fingers in Cardinals practice on Wednesday

The Cardinals started Wednesday’s practice with 13 players out because of injuries. It wasn’t long before the list grew to 14.

Starting receiver Michael Floyd dislocated three fingers in practice and is expected to miss 3-5 weeks, according to a source, who also told azcentral sports the injury wasn’t as severe as the Cardinals first feared.

That means Floyd could be ready to play in the regular-season opener against the Saints on Sept. 13.

The only information released by the team on Wednesday was that Floyd suffered a hand injury and that guard John Fullington suffered a right knee injury later in practice.
